Please spend at least 15 minutes a night working with your child on their multiplication facts. It is imperative that they have these facts memorized...ASAP. They should have had them memorized last year. We will not be spending a lot of time in class learning these facts. We have to move on into 3 digit by 1 digit multiplication and eventually all the way in to 3 digit by 3 digit...all of that will be done before the end of the quarter. So, as you can see it is very, very important that your child have their facts memorized. Flash cards are a great way to practice these and they can be purchased at the Dollar Tree, etc. The students are already being tested, assuming they know these, since they should have learned them last year.
